We are a fully accessible building with elevator service to all levels and offer free wifi throughout the building. WUC has many rooms that are perfect for celebrating life events or hosting banquets and meetings. We also offer work and studio spaces to small businesses and entrepreneurs. Let’s not forget about our parking lot available for outdoor functions too! Your rental fee helps to fund our social justice outreach programs addressing food security and the well-being of all in our community.
Sanctuary
The sanctuary is a bright and open space, with superb acoustics making it ideal for events such as concerts, guest speakers, theatre productions, and music recitals. Beautifully renovated in 2016, the Sanctuary can seat close to 300 people comfortably and is equipped with a state-of-the-art sound system, pull-out risers, two drop-down projection screens, a Casavant organ, and a grand piano.
Auditorium
The auditorium is a large well-lit space with an open floor plan. Approximately 100 people can be seated in this room and there is a projector and projector screen at one end. The Auditorium is suited for events such as conferences, luncheons, birthdays, award ceremonies, wedding or baby showers, workshops, etc. The auditorium includes a sink, microwave, bar fridge, chairs and tables (6 foot rectangular tables or 8 person round tables)
Chapel
The newly-created chapel is ideal for small gatherings of up to 18 and is easily accessible located just inside the west (parking lot) doors. The room can also be used as a small meeting space with tables and chairs and will seat up to 25 people comfortably. Private baptisms, business meetings, or a workroom are just a few ideas for this space.
Commercial Kitchen
Our commercial kitchen is a fully equipped and public health-inspected facility. This space has everything you need: an electric convection oven, gas cooktop and oven, freezer, refrigerator, washing station, commercial dishwasher, and separate hand washing station! Repeat and long-term renters may qualify for a discounted rate. Perfect for caterers, preserve and jam makers, cooking classes, or as an add-on to your auditorium rental (special pricing applies).
