ADULT

The UCW is a group of women based on fellowship and friendship. Our main purpose is uniting the women of our Congregation through loyalty and devotion to Jesus Christ, our Lord.

We are the ladies who prepare funeral luncheons, coffee shops/café lunches, baked good, tea parties, meals for the Men’s group and large congregational dinners. We also run the Purse Project through the leadership of Lynne Smith.

Our presence is also noticed through participation with events outside of the church such as Bruce Trail lunches and shows. Other times we stay in for some local musical talent, presentations, or demonstrations.

To organize functions, create ideas, and have fellowship, we meet once a month on the third Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Much like the UCW, the Westminster Men’s Fellowship is based on friendship and gathering.

We are a group of men who meet once a month to have wonderful dinners and listen to good relevant speakers. It costs $15.00 to attend and we always encourage people to bring guests who are also interested.

As designated projects present themselves, the Westminster Men’s Fellowship will work as a unit to help and complete the projects. Please contact Gary Vipond if you would like more information (519) 941-5655.

Throughout the year, Westminster United Church offers courses in Religious study and discussion. These classes are typically held on Wednesday mornings at 10:00 a.m. in our auditorium.
